Frogspawn Question

I have a branching frog spawn that was given to me by a LFS that at the time had 1 large head and 1 very small head alive and about 6 dead ends where there were once heads. I put it in the tank as is and its growing quickly now have the 2 heads both very large and 2 very small heads that have started to grow out of the sides. My question is should I remove the dead ends or just leave it alone? I am normally the type that says if its not broken don't fix it and as there was no dead tissue on them when I got it I just put it in the tank to see if it would live. Now that its starting to grow will the dead ends have any ill effect on the coral?

Left mine alone also. Growing like crazy. LFS bought my large one and I kept the one with 2 dead heads and 1 good one.
Don`t know why but doesn`t seem to affect growth.

I agree that it is not effecting thus far as said when I received it about 4 weeks ago it had 1 very small and 1 large head. Now I am up to 4 heads so its for sure happy and growing but for the first week I gave it a little extra food during feedings just to boost it up

The dead heads won't affect the live ones. However, they can become a place where algae will grow, depending on your system.
