Frogspawn Question...

Just added a really nice Frogspawn over the weekend. Opened up very nice when the lights came on for the day, then in the evening it withdrew to just the tips sticking out.

Is this normal for a new introduction into the tank?

While the Frogspawn looks like a soft coral, it is actually considered a large polyp stony coral. It is normal for them to retract at night time and then open up during the day.

Keeping normal saltwater parameters will ensure it's success.
