frogspawn question

I have a nice frogspawn that has just split. it's not completely split(not 2 seperate branches yet but it's definately 2 mouths. the original head looks horrible but the new one looks awesome. any thoughts? the original head isn't opening at all and it looks kinda gray

Hopefully its a little aggitated and will pull through. If you start to see brown jelly, you're probably better fragging off what you can.

update: I just checked it and the original head is totally dead but the new one still looks fine. I'm confused I've never seen this happen before

how often, and what are you feeding?

every 2-3 days kent microvert. I have other frogspawn for over a year and it's fine
