Frogspawn splitting/Frag'n

Hello, I have a frogspawn with purple tips. There are 12 stalks that root from 2 and I would like to split the stalk. My question is do I just cut down the middle?

Also can cross plooination work with this LPS? So if I had a my purple tip with a green next to each other...

But what I meat was can 2 of them be put together and have another stalk grow with green and purple tips?

I think that is a hammer coral as opposed to a frogspawn.

To frag it you would just cut or break in the middle of the V.

In order to get a hybrid or color or hammer/frogspawn, they have to spawn and then cross fertilize. But it is possible, as I have seen some hammerspawns.


Also you have a trigger in your reef? Cool. I like triggers but I dont know that I would be brave enough to have one in my reef.

LOL...My trigger (Vlad) was in my 75 to which I just made into lionfish with no reef. The lions where just a bit to much for him so I did take a chance. For that last 5 months 100% doing well with no problems. Cleaning crew and corals are all ok.

Also this type of Trigger can do well in a reef.
