Frogspawn Stinger Tentacles

I know frogspawn has long stinging sweeper tentacles, what I'm wondering is are these the same tentacles you see during the day (fleshy with purple or green bumps on them?) If so, mine don't seem to be very stingy -- my coral banded shrimp likes to wade through them and I've seen an emerald crab batting one away from his face, but the crab didn't move (so I'm assuming it was more of an annoyance than painful).

They might look alike but they are different.

The sweeper tenticles look the same as the normal ones, just a lot longer.

don't worry if your coral doesn't seem stingy. Count that as a blessing.

I have two frogspawns, a hammer and a torch in my tank, and NONE of them have sweeper tenticles on them. Yet in my friend's tank, his frogspawn has the longest sweepers I've ever seen !

It all depends on the coral.
