its very hard to put a definite number on that.. it depends on the health of the coral, flow, food etc....

generally speaking:
Most favias 3-5"
euphyllias 3"
torches add 1-2"
Lobos and Symphillias 2-4"
Chalice(type) 4-6"
Bubble corals 5-6"
