If my clowns try to host my frogspawn will they hurt it

They can, especially because frogspawn has a calcerous skeleton that the coral's tissues will end up getting rubbed against. I've heard of clownfish causing tissue erosion and even death to LPS corals like frogspawn by using them as hosts.
