I am new to keeping LPS. I have a frogspawn that had about 2/3 of the polyps eaten by a crab. The skeleton is still covered in flesh and the reaming polyps look good. Will the poor thing regrow its polyps? thanks

probably as long as the mouth is intact, and it doesnt continue to be eaten/stressed.

We have had a hammer grow from a single polyp to the size of a grapefruit. As long as it is not stressed, you are good.

Medium light with low flow should help it come back, as long as its not being beaten up.

Cool that's good news, it gives me hope at least. Its in a low flow med light area now the remaining few polyps look good. I removed the crab and will remove the remaining crab and peppermint shrimp this weekend to be sure my corals are safe. Thanks
