i saw a frogspawn at my lfs and part of it was dead but one head on it was thriving. will this coral live? i only ask this becuase it was huge about 7" or 8" across for $25 and thought about picking it up, but i didnt want to with out asking you guys first

If the circumstances that caused the first head to die are corrected the rest will usually live.

it will live. frogspawn do grow and sprout babiees very often. I have a few and there are babies coming off of it all the time. the babies usually dont survive due to lack of light, but it is a safety precaution that if the bigger head dies then the babies will get enough light and survive.
