Hello RC peeps.

After 16 month of running a 125 gallon (glass) with fish and a few coral I am moving from a Fluval FX6 filter & Seaclone 150 Skimmer (no good) to a 65 gallon Acrylic with an SCA 301 skimmer and a Zero Edge Sump. I am most proud of the pump I will be using which is

Please let me know your thoughts on this pump & sump. I should get it by tomorrow. I am excited.
Btw my sump is:

P.S
The reason I am moving to a smaller tank is because my 125 is taking up to much space.
I do have future plans for the 125 but might sell the FX6

Nice! Congrats on the upgrade. Post some picture once its up😉

You could use the FX6 for GAC and/or GFO. I've read of a few people doing that here and it saves buying a media reactor, although that thing is pretty big.

I've been ruining 2 RODC 3500 pumps (older version of the varios series) on my 125 mixed reef for over 2 years now with zero issues. Aside from the gph ratings, and float switch enabled controller, I think the pumps are basically the same. Completely silent, and I love that they come apart without tools for cleaning. Mine didn't come with strainers, but one call to the manufacturer and I had them about a week later. I would definitely buy again when the time comes.
