From one scary pest to another!

2 weeks ago I noticed a monster eunice worm in my tank. I lured it out with a piece of fish. Unfortunately I got impatient and it was only about 8" out of the rock it was in. I grabbed it with tongs thinking I could pull the rest out. It ripped in 1/2 and the rest of the worm was deep in the rock work. Ok so now I get a nutrient spike from the rotting flesh in the tank and guess what I have an outbreak of now? If you guessed dinoflaggelets you are correct.
So do I panic now or just hold steady hopping it will burn out? I would say the snot covers everything but not at an epic proportion like I've seen in other tanks.
Any advice would be welcome
Thanks
Dave

Thanks. That is what I've been doing. Turn pumps off, blow off all the corals and rocks, let it settle on sand and suck it out. I'm on day 4 of doing that with only slight improvement noted. In a month or 2 I will be ready to move everything into a new 120. When I transfer stuff over would a peroxide/saltwater dip to all the rocks and corals be in order? I don't want to kill all the microfauna that has been established over the past 2 years.
