Hi All
Spent the better part of the day breaking down the tank and then removing the sand and replacing it with starboard. first i made up a bunch of extra water and had a bunch of bins for the rock and corals and water to go into. then proceeded to romove the sand. after that was done, we took the tank out side and washed it out and placed the starboard in. Then, Placed the tank back in place and started filling with new water. Replaced all rock and coral and the rest of the water. i did this to the tank because of a slight cyano problem and as i was taking out the sand there was this layer of nasty black mud. here are some before and after pics. let me know what you think. i think it look mush more sanitary and i like it and everything in the tank seems to be ok.
