Fromia starfish behavior.

I added a from is starfish to my tank 2 days ago and today I can home from work and it is lifting itself out of the water and bent backward. Is this normal for a starfish? This is my first star so I'm not sure.




The white bit between its arms is a piece of mysis.

It is not bending over, the suction feet need water to work so when it touches the water's edge the feet do not work and so fall into the water. This is normal. Starfish cannot see where they are going
