Frozen food for fish

What frozen marine food can I feed my fish that one buys from the grocery store? How would I know it is safe for consumption by the fish?

I assume it should not be cooked or blanched and have no preservatives?

I want to feed mussel, squid, some fish etc. to my predators.

Basically any seafood that is not fatty. I would only stay away from Tuna and Salmon. My favorites are peeled shrimp (cooked or not), scallopsand caned or fresh crab.

How would I know whether food is fatty or not? Is there a reference value I can compare against the container?

Basicly any mussles, dry fish (not tuna, etc), clams, other shellfish, shrimp, will work just fine.

Thanks guys... Does it matter whether it has preservatives?
Whenever possible get it frozen or fresh so it is less likely to have preservatives, canned and dried does. Preservatives are not a big deal but I would try not to use it often, many have phosphates or nitrites added that may feed algae blooms.
