Frozen Food/Freezer Burn

I always take months to use the food and it inevitably ends up with freezer burn.

Does freezer burn degrade the nutritional value if the frozen food?

BTW...I'm talking about Krill, Cyclopeeze etc. frozen block food.

I asked a guy at my LFS (which specializes in marine tanks) how long frozen cyclopeez lasts and whether freezer burn would affect it. His answers were "indefinitely" and "no".

Try storing it in a well sealed package, zip lock bags seem to extend it's life a lot. To prevent tawing and opening and closing the package try breaking the food apart into smaller bags so you keep most of it undistrubed until you will need it.
