frustrated with wlan

I am having difficulty getting my profilux 3 /WLAN connection set up.
Is there someone who I can speak to? I have watched the videos on you
tube and read the forums but I am unable to establish a connection. I
purchased this unit several months ago, but just recently
attempted to set it up.

I have a verizon Fios router. Several other devices (printer, blu-ray
player) connect wirelessly to it. I disabled the WEP security setting.
What else do I need?

Thank you AQD, but as of tonight, I cannot post there, even though I registered.
I ordered the P3 months ago. I was one of the first, Now I discover I do not have the WLAN card installed. I thought this was included in the price?

Hi

The P3 is "wireless ready" meaning you require a wireless bridge to connect to the LAN port IF you wish to go wireless.

The P3 has never been marketed that it comes with a wireless card anywhere - in fact GHL do not make the wireless card anymore as it is restrictive in use with the P3 as it blocks access to the webserver so would never be sold with a P3.

The webserver is accessed via the ethernet port, and to make the connection wireless you just need a cheap gaming bridge, you can find heaps on fleabay for around $30

What expansion card exactly?

If you mean the PLM-WLAN as I said above this will NOT give you access to the webserver, this card is for P2 only users, although it fits the P3 and will give you wireless access its does not do what you want it to do for a P3.

You require a simple wireless bridge, Linksys make one so do D-Link.
