fry set up question

I am in the process of setting up a 10 ga fuge that is not attached to the reef. As it turned out, today, we have discovered out very first clutch of Clown eggs. Providing that it gets to this point, would the fuge, with chaeto & pods be a suitable place to move the hatchlings to if I add rotifers?
Thank you,

i wouldnt think so. my clowns havent spawned yet, so i have no real world experience. however, i have read the clownfish bible several times in preparation for them - if they ever do. wilkerson recommends the larvae be placed into an empty tank. just a heater and air bubbler i believe are the only things recommended. reason is, i think, the larvae will get tangled in the macroalgae. she states they are small enough to even get trapped in the silicone seams of the tank. the lighting required for the macro may also be too intense for the larvae. they will swim to the bottom and stay there, attempting to get away from the too-bright light, and not eat. they will be too small to eat the pods at first, also. like i said, i havent actually done this, just going off what the book says. i highly recommend you get the book if you plan on raising fry. it is full of information and not just about breeding them.
