It is a sad day for me... Our house finally sold, and I had to decide what to do with the tank. I don't think we are going to be able to bring it, so I must sell it.

I will start by trying to sell the whole package complete at a bargain price. If there are no takers in a few weeks, I will decide to part it out.

150 gallon glass visio tank. 5'x2'x2' center overflow.

probably more, can't think of it all off the top of my head

All for $2000. I spent far more than double this setting this all up just under a year ago. I'll get some pics up tonight when I get home.

:( It really does make me sad posting this...

If you part-it-out I'm interested in the critters and livestock please.
I'm in corona. Try to take it with you if you can. If it's a local move.
Thanks,
DC

The system was set up last... I think it was October (2005), so it's roughly 10 months old.

All PMs responded to. If/when I decide to part out, I'll post it here.

Here's a shot of the whole tank taken a couple months ago.

The stand is about 34" high. The tank is 24" high. The canopy is just under 17" high. Total height from the ground to top of canopy is just under 6' 2". It is 5' 3" wide and 26" deep (28 1/2" from my wall to the front of the stand).

I posted a couple more pics here: http://dpstrand.blogspot.com/

You can see the canopy and light system in this pic, the halides slide side to side, height can be adjusted, and they can be completely removed very easily. The actinics slide front to back.

I'll post the equipment after all the livestock is gone. I was thinking $450 for the tank/stand/canopy. The stand and canopy still need a little bit of work to be declared finished, the canopy needs to be polyurethaned on the outside (inside is done, outside is already painted), and the stand's doors need to be primered/painted/poly'ed (the cabinet is done, the doors were ordered from Lowes and they are mounted but not painted yet). That being said, I paid more than this for the tank alone, and the stand is built like a tank with nice sized doors on the front and one door on one of the ends (to get a sump into it). The canopy has a nice custom light system. And I'll toot my own horn by saying, they look fairly decent :)

The tank has a single center overflow with a hole for a 1.5" drain and a 1" return.

Anyhow, I will post the equipment as soon as all or most of the livestock is gone.
