FS: 180 gallon system break down
So I'm officially back from college and my tank looks like complete crap. I don't have the time nor the money to keep this tank up anymore as I am in debt in the high 5 digits so I must part with my once beautiful tank as well as all my live stock. The tank is still running so sometimes may not be able to go until the livestock has been sold. Would prefer to sell everything as a whole but am willing to break it down. All prices are OBO and are negotiable.
$600 takes EVERYTHING
180 gallon acrylic tank (6x2x2) with stand and low-profile canopy: has two built in over-flows, once in each corner as well. There are scratches on the tank from my little cousins using the mag-flat (damnit) as a toy but I believe it could all be buffed out as none are extremely deep but it will take some work. Comes with sump that contains two wet-dry set chambers as well as a return pump. $350
Jeff's Exotic Fish EuroReef Skimmer replica: this skimmer includes a Sedra pump with a needle wheel that I bought from a LFS less than 6 months ago. It is a replica that works extremely well. The base of the skimmer has been cut off to fit my sump before I moved it around but is in working condition and skims with no issues. Measures 6" in diameter and around 24" tall with a Sedra KSP-5000. $100
VHO light set up: light set up consist of 4 T-12 72" bulbs. There are a total of eight end caps and two ballast, each with 2 individual controllers. The ballast are electronic and could possibly be used for a T-5 but I'm not really sure. $100
MH set up: I have one 250w MH set up with a bulb that has less than 2 months of usage (I believe it is a Ushio 12k DE halide). The ballast is electronic. $100
Side tank: is drilled with a small overflow. Measures roughly 2"Lx1.5"Wx1"H. $30
Mag Drive 9: $50, Mag Drive 7: $40
Aqua UV sterilizer: Needs a new bulb, I don't know wattage but I know it's rated for the size of my tank. $50
Maxi-jets 1200 (I think I have four): $10 each
DJ power strips (2 of them): $10 each
Live stock:
Vlamingi Tang: 7", beautiful fish with bright blue marks on its body $50
Yellow tang: 3-4" $20
Clown Trigger: 4-5" $40
Rabbit Tang: 3-4" $20
Maroon Clown: this female maroon clown has been with me since day one and is over 10 years old. Her mate went missing a while back (probably the clown trigger). In need of a good home $FREE
Live rock: I have over 200 lbs of liverock in my tank. Some pieces of rock have been in my tank for over 10 years so I'm convinced they are full of life. Beautiful, deep purple hues on the parts that were exposed when the tank was in it's prime. There are some pieces with aptasia but the majority of the rocks are good. Should be able to be taken care of with some peppermint shrimp or a CBB. $1 per pound
There is also a ton of miscellaneous things I have lying around that one can take if they need it. I'm sure there are things that I didn't list here that are for sale just as well. Come back and take a peek. As stated before, everything is OBO and I am willing to work with you. I live in Northridge in the SFV (818). My number is (818) 667-8667. Feel free to call or text to arrange a meet up. I'll be free all day, every day.
Thanks
