FS: 2 175w Sunlight Supply Dual Pulse Ballasts

One is used about 2-3 months, the other is new...they were both sent into Sunlight Supply at the start of their lives dt malfunctions and are both fixed now...the one is still sealed in the box and the other was used for a couple months.

These ballasts sell for $350+ new and I am wanting $125/each:

I also have two Ushio 175w 10,000 Kelvin metal halide bulbs...one is used about 3 months, the other about 2 months.

Looking for $30/each.

That would be a negative. Those are pulse start and can only handle a mogul based bulb. You need an electronic or HQI ballast for a DE bulb.

They are however excellent at driving 175 watt mogul bulbs.

i could only imagine. I should've known better than to ask Dave that question. I guess he should be required to have water in his tanks to answer any questions.

I've forgotten more than you know:lol: Truthfully, I am no longer an equipment junkie...that part of the game no longer does it for me...the fun for me is keeping a thriving biotope....something I will do in the near future.

All kidding aside the tanks are very close to having water in them. I hope Bogi doesn't develop a taste for saltwater...he could drink a tank dry in a day.

Yeah, I was excited to read in the other thread that he has the tanks half full of water. Quite an accomplishment in the making. Next thing is salt and livestock. Probably seems like a lifetime since purchasing the tanks.
