Hey everyone,
My dad has been helping me out with my 220g tank build and he picked me up two new in the box 400w MH light fixtures leftover from a job his company did awhile back. These things are big and I don't think they will work for my tank! I am trying to keep my canopy on the smaller side so I am going to go with 8 x 54w T5s instead. Anyways, he doesn't need them back so he told me to keep them. I figured I would offer them on here in case someone is looking. Each fixture includes a 70w-400w ballast, a polished dome reflector, a glass UV shield, a single mogul 400w GE bulb, and a waterproof housing. Everything is brand new never used. I took a look at one last night and it would be really easy to pull out the reflector and ballasts from the waterproof housing and use as a retro if anyone was so inclined. Also, if you don't want to run 400w bulbs you can always downsize your wattage.
