FS: (4) GHL Mitras LX6200

Unfortunately the contaminated water that is making it through the rodi membranes isn't giving us much of a choice. The 360 is being converted to a fish only system.

That sucks!!! I have another RO canister you can hook up to add something to help, you guys have helped the club so much. I hate to see this. There has to be something we can do to help get the water usable

Already running 6 stage RO/DI with 2 DI cannisters - water shows 0 TDS and whatever it is is making it thru the filters. With the known issues with our local source water - very high Barium levels as reported by the water agency as well as the Aero Jet spill from years gone by putting petrochemicals in the aquafier - we are tried of chasing it. Since we can't even know the true issue and with our very large water volume it makes it even more difficult to know when a fix is working.

Losing the Gigas clam was kind of the last straw and then the decision came down to whether to shut it down or just go fish only. The Triton testing was really the only thing we were waiting for.

Have plans to bring in some really nice butterflies and angels I would never think about keeping in a SPS system.

so sorry to hear, things can head south so quickly in this hobby and the problem is it isn't a cheap hobby :(. getting hit too many times in one month and adding up the expenses was one of the main reasons for pulling the plug on my tank. Is Anne's tank still up? Going for a smaller tank for corals? There are some awesome fish only fish that would love a tank that size! (how about a school of Moorish idols? or a pair of crosshatch triggers?)

We're making a few adjustments to my shallow reef to make room for Jeff's remaining clams that have been in the 360. My zoas have been much more tolerant of the water so we'll keep it going.

There's lots of ways to enjoy this hobby... we're just going with a new path...
