by local interest, I mean Iowans first...
So I have a raw M59 400w balast, capacitor, mogul base, 1 6500k bulb and 2 10000k bulbs all used but all still in good shape for sale.
I decided that 400w is going to be way more light than I will ever need plus I found an incredible 175w MH setup I would rather have.
Price is $60 plus shipping. Or you can pick it up at my place in Elkhart.
The cool thing is the board that ties it all together. No guess work wiring it up, just connect a power cord to it and mount up the balast, cap, and board somewhere and mount the base onto a $30 parabolic reflector and you are set.
I was going to do this that way myself, but I would have to make my hood way too tall to get the light far enough off the water to keep from frying my shrooms...
