Available in SF a nice 40B set-up, practically new.
Tank is new, Aqueon glass.
Stand is all put together by myself, I had an emergency stand built for a good friend a while back then was just stored outside but under cover.
I finished building a stand for another good friend last week and as I was cleaning my mess, saw the old 2x4's 2x6's old emergency stand and heck, why not? In the past I had offered the stand and a cracked 40B "Terrarium" for free but no takers so they just sat collecting dust...
I spotted another new 40B, this one no cracks (yet), brand new so to kill some time. All wood work has been finished and sanded smoothly, needs hinges (Euro would be nice) and a door pull or spring loaded magnetic catch.
You can stain the stand to your favorite pick, noticed some new colors at HD that seem attractive to my eye, then finish it with polyurethane OR use stain+poly in one such as Minwax Polyshades.
Bare finish of the stand is Red Oak and shows a beautiful grain in Polyshades Gloss Black. Minwax has/had a new Espresso in the Polyshades line but if you apply a second coat turns, well, black.
With the set I'll include an old Wet/Dry to use as sump, needs some cleaning but you have enough elbow grease to tackle that issue.
$350 for the set.
