Hello All,

I will be upgrading my lights sometimes this week or early next week so I'm selling my Aqualight Pro Fixture. It has 2-150 Watt 15K XM bulbs and 2-96 Watt SunPaq Dual actinic 420/460nm. These bulbs has approximatly 3 months of use on them. I also have 2-150 Watt 20K XM bulbs if some wants to switch out the 15K for the 20K instead (2 months of use). The fixture also comes with three 1 watt lunar ligths, however one of them does not work. Other than that the fixture is in perfect condition as you can see by the picture. I'm asking $450 OBO. Please PM with any questions. First person to leave me a $100 deposit once we agree on the price will get the lights. Thanks.

I bought:
20K's at Marine Depot
15K's at Reef Club on Ebay
Bought 15K's first than tried 20K's and switched back because it was just to blue, for those who are curious of why I have two sets of bulb.

I have this same light in the 250 version and have had the 150 as well.

Its a great lighting setup and the 150s will work PERFECTLY for someone who has LPS/Anenome/Clams.

I'd buy if I didn't already have my lighting array...

Dots: So the 150 is LPS/Anenome/Clam friendly. Would you say the 250 is SPS?

I actually kept some SPS using the 2x150 Watt Aqualights. The only thing is you have to keep them up high. If you look to the top left of the tank closely you'll see a few frags of of sps. I know it's hard to see. One is a tricolor validia, a table acro, and a pink cap with purple polyp, all doing very well. Even better now that I have my upgraded ligths. But like dots said it would work great for any placement depth for lps, clams, and softies.

He about nailed it.

I had the 150s over my 75g which is relativly short and found that I could keep the SPS alive, but did not grow fast or be placed on the bottom.

For troublesome or rare, finicky and otherwise hard to keep SPS, the wattage proved too little. Because of this limitation, I was held to a 10K light to keep get the PAR I needed. I only upgraded for more punch and the ability to change bulbs for what I wanted to achieve.

Because not everyone is as silly over the colored sticks as I am, and am VERY happy with this package, I would HIGHLY recommend it to someone with LPS/Clams/Anenom and limited SPS to create a great mixed display. These lights are intense enough, but not too much.

In fact I have swung too far and have a problem with too much lighting now, but remember I am trying to keep the rarer pieces and don't want to be lacking in the lighting dept.

Anyone wanting to upgrade from PCs.....this is a great setup IMO.

And considering what he is asking.......swinging deal........I think my 250s were over $1000..........
