I am breaking down my 500 gallon reef tank. This tank is 96" long 48" Wide and 24" tall. This tank was custom made and has 1.25" thick front and rear panels and 1" thick sides top and bottom. It is over built and has no deflection or crazing and the seams are perfect. It has a center overflow (race track) with 1.5" drains and a pair of 1" returns going through the bottom of the tank which exit through Locline. I don't use the returns as I use a pair of 1" Seaswirls and the lines going in the bottom through the overflow are currently being used for a closed loop setup.
The custom acrylic sump measures 40"x30" x 18" tall and is setup for four 7" filter socks. The separate refugium measures 36" x 30"x 18" tall and connects directly to the primary sump via dual 2" union ball valves. The refugium has slotted black acrylic false walls in it so that water flows through it in a laminar flow pattern from front to back. The return compartment is setup at the back of the refugium where external pump connects. This tank would cost nearly $10,000 to duplicate and the sump and refugium nearly $4000 to duplicate.
Also included is a custom motorized aluminum light rack that measures about 40" x 90". The light rack raises and lowers with the push of a button and could easily be built into a canopy. The winch is powerful enough to raise the rack and canopy without an issue. LED lights are not included in this price. If you are interested in the lights, they can be included at an additional price. The tank has 6 GHL Mitras LX7206's and 8 Kessil 360WE's. All attached to the rack via articulating light mounts.
The price is for the display, sump, refugium, light rack with winch setup.
$2500 gets it! Not including lights though! Tank will be ready to be picked up this weekend.
