Long time lurker, first time poster:
Was out of town this past weekend and the tank heater decided to fail in the on position while I was gone. Tank got cooked. :sad1: Since I don't have the time or the $$ to get it up and running again (an no fish/coral to even put in it), I thought I'd see if anyone here wanted any of the setup.
It's a 65g tank/stand/canopy. The tank is drained mostly and the live rock (and what is left of the coral) are sitting in a 32gal bin and large storage container. I've accumulated rock over the last 10 years or so so I'm not sure exactly how much there is. If I had to take a wild guess I'd say maybe somewhere between 150-175lbs? There are some rather large shelf pieces that were used as the base as well. There was a lot of coral on it before the crash so not sure how much if any of it could be saved.
The stand is in pretty good condition, no water damage anywhere. The canopy has some holes cut in it for lights and doors (which came off and the new ones never made it on). The tank itself is also in pretty good condition (aside from being pretty dirty, but I plan on cleaning it up tomorrow) with only some minor scratches. It does not have an overflow built in but I have a CPR overflow box (I forget which one but it only has the single drain).
65gal tank/stand/canopy with overflow box - 100$
All the rock (150-175lbs) - 150$
Live sand (prob more than 80lbs) - Free if you tank the other stuff and want it
I'm available all day tomorrow (8/30) if you wanted to stop by and take a look (located in El Sobrante 94803). The best way to get a hold of me is through text: 440 - 478 - seven four five two.
