The wire showing on the gyre is a defect and should be fixed. Create a ticket with CoralVue, mine is the same way and even though it is out of warranty they are still doing a one time replacement for free. Customer service at its finest!

I am on a high tds well and run rodi. I bought a booster pump and it upped my production and cut the tds from the membrane from 70 to 20. I have also started to degass the ro water before the di.

Yea i have well water and it works perfect. You just go through filters a bit quicker because of the minerals and extra particulates in the water.
