I have been contemplating this for some time, and I think I am finally going to do it.......take a break. I want to take a step back, re-tool some things, and come back with a better plan in a few years. Not to mention my new baby and his upcoming medical bills. I will be keeping most of the equipment for when I return, but all the live stuff is up for grabs.
Part of the reason I am doing this is due to a bit of neglect, so stuff will be cheap (or free). Lights are out right now, so pictures are to follow and/or upon request.
Any corals that can be detached can be sold with the rock, just know that I have a medium hair algae issue, and I did use fluke tabs last year (so I can't guarantee any xenia or gsp's wont be affected in your tank).
1) 3 or 4 red bubble tip anemones, (one looks like it is in the process of splitting, but I can't see the foot to know for sure). 2 are a bit larger, one is smaller, and one is kinda tiny. $40 large, $30 medium, $20 small. Just know that it may take time to get them to release, or I can sell you the rock.
2) Green Candy Cane, ~20 heads: $20
3) Green Frogspawn: ~5 heads, some hair algae at the base: $15
4) Purple tip hammer, ~5 heads: $15
5) Green Acan, ~5 eyes: $10
6) Green Acro, 3 branches, a little algae at the base: $5
7) Hollywood stunner, ~2" diameter, on fist sized rock: $15
8) Duncan, ~7 heads, but haven't come out in a few months. Definitely alive, may just need TLC. I think i had an emeral crab picking at it. $0
9) Large rock with 30+ heads of green paly: $20
10) Small torch, ~3 heads. Needs a little tlc. $5
11) Small rock with 20+ head of rando blue zoa: $10
12) Cleaner shrimp, 2 @ $10 each
13) Perc Clown, been getting the business from a clarkii $5
14) Clarkii clown (was sold to me as such, but some pics I see of them they arent as black). Mine is black with white bars and a yellow tail. He loves his nems, but is a bit aggressive. $10
15) Yellow tang. Eats well, but gets a little gaunt if not fed very regularly. $10
16) My old halides and t-5 supplement: 2x175 with spider reflectors, and a 2 bulb t-5 setup. Been trying to move it for some time. $50
17) Two Koralia 1500s and a 1150. One of them is broken (doesn't ever seem to start the correct direction, and wont correct itself). The other two work, but have some cracks in the cages. $20 for the working pair, broken one thrown in free, just take it off my hands.
This hobby has been alot of fun for a long time, but it just hasn't been of late. I hope this break will allow me to recharge my batteries and come back with a good head of steam and a smarter setup.
