FS- Better than LED moonlights

I picked up some extra CCFL's (Cold Compact Flourescent Lights) with an order the other day. I've got some power supply's sitting around as well, and thought I'd go ahead and make them completely plug-and-play as it might be easier to get rid of the excess.
Will throw them in the car when I head too the swap.

10" red CCFL $10.00

12" blue CCFL- $12.00

15" UV CCFL- $16.00, supposed to be the worlds largest, not sure I really want too sell it.

If you have enough I would like to check these out for how they mount and stuff in the morning. So hopefully see you there.

Sorry, missed the swap. Trying to find time to meet with fishnfst, so he should be able to comment. These come with adhesive backed velcro that stick too yourcanopy. Personally, I'd probably super-glue, or screw the velcro into the hood. I have too check them now to see what type of velcro it is, I have some heavier duty types around I may throw in. Guess it wasn't the brightest (ding!) idea getting some extra's after all.

How bright are these things? They look like the under car neons which would make them pretty bright. Or do they just have more of a glow to them?

Talked to a buddy last weekend and he said that Samsung is choosing CCFL over LED technology with their next generation of backlit HDTVs. This was a very disappointing development to at least one LED company. If they're bright enough to backlight a HDTV, it seems that CCFLs can be made pretty bright.
