FS Blue Velvet nudi

Hi, I purchased this nudi today to take care of some flat worms but my flow seems to be a bit too much for it, it flows all over the place and I don't want it to end up in a PH. I have it in the sump for now in a pet/bugs container cleaning a piece of star polyps, anyone interested let me know. $20. Thank you

Mine is doing fine under pretty high flow...it just takes a little bit for it to get acclimated to attach. mine floated across the tank until it hit the sand, brought some with him, and finally anchored down. It went up on the glass and has not left it since. I have an HOB skimmer and three MJ1200's on my 55G.

Well I tried again today and it wasn't good at all :( I put it in a plastic container so it can get out on it own on the sand bed, it got out fine but went up again and got sucked in the koralia 4, by the time I turned off it was too late. It's back in the sump but is not looking good. My flow is 2 K4, 2 MJ 1200, 1 MJ 1200 with the mod and two outlets from the return pump and still now enought flow IMO :)

She got a few in...I'm sorry I told you to try it with such poor results. My guy has literally sat in front of a ph and didn't get blown anywhere.

Anyone have any good links on more info on this species? I believe I saw one the other day at SITC and wanted to learn more about them. Thanks

Chelidonura varians, I believe?

We had one once. Expensive mistake. Put it in, it floated to the sandbed, and a blueleg hermit ran over and killed it. Just like that.

They are certainly beautiful, but by no means a sure thing. Sorry to hear about yours.

Danielle

I found some info on them on liveaquaria. So their diet consists entirely of flatworms? Wouldn't it be pretty difficult to keep them alive for a considerable amount of time considering this dietary restriction?

Unless you have FW's like me in two separate tanks and have a steady supply. I think the main point is to eradicate most of the FW's, then pass it along to another person who has FW's.
