FS BRAND NEW MEGAFLOW ACCS KITS (2) FL Tampa area

You call me ignorant, but look at the way you react to a joke. Your a pretty rude person, and btw, dursos don't cost 50$ to make, more like 10-15$ and locline, I already have and personally don't like. Sorry for making a joke in the thread, never meant to make you cry. Paypal is just a lot faster than going to the store, getting a money order, shipping it out, waiting for you to get it, etc. I would of had no problem paying the few extra cents for the fee's. Honestly, good luck with your sale and don't take everything so seriously.

ignorant is unlearned not stupid. zurc where I got that amount of money from is 4 bulkheads. 7 bucks each or so. to do a durso the quiet way you should use 1 1/2 inch pipe and fittings so they cost a bit more. I forget that most people don't build durso's the better way. most only go up one size in pipe or not at all. 2 sizes is my way and works well for me. i also use all 4 bulkheads as drains so that is 4 durso's not 2. hopefully now you see were I came up with that amount. so if built my way it costs over $50.

I have a 24 " tall acrylic tank with one overflow that has 3x 1 1/2" holes drilled in it...will these work for it and would I be able to shorten one so that I can have the other as a emergency overflow?

Hmmm, I think they will, I will get in contact with a friend of mine and have him post on here what he thinks, hes MUCH better at this than I am... Thanks Greg

Hey Rob, do you think that what he needs and what I have will work?? Thanks Rob

OK heres what Ive found out by reading the box!!! it comes with a 1" bulkhead a 3/4 universal and a plain 3/4 one and yes you can shorten the return pipe and the drain pipe is fully adjustable. Hope this might help you, im still waiting for him to respond, but if i remember correctly I had to buy 1 1/2" bulkheads for my 180 where these kits were goin to go.

heres a pic of one of the boxes and what is included

the pipes can be made to work but the bulkheads will not. if the holes are drilled for 1 1/2 inch bulkheads you have to use 1 1/2 inch bulkheads. nothing else will work. everything but the bulkheads would be usable if modified. then of course it would not flow as much as the 1 1/2 inch bulkhead is capable of. they should be pretty adjustable. using both to drain all the time will cut down on noise.

I misunderstood sorry I thought you meant holes for 1 1/2 inch bulkheads. I think it is somewhere around 1 1/2 inches but not sure of the exact size. sounds like it should work for you after all.

Are these still available??? I just picked up a 65g tank and I need to redo the plumbing, also looking for a different bulkhead for my 90... Let me know, PM sent...
