Brand new Neptune Systems AquaController Jr. with Temp Probe

DSC_0005.jpg

Comes with everything you see in the picture, no DC8.

I'm selling this because I'm going to use an Aquacontroller III instead. This unit has never been used, turned on, or plugged in. It comes with the box, instructions, ac adapter, temp probe, and the base unit. Not backlit.

$200 or $190 + cool zoanthid frag.

SF Bay Area, pickup only!

I've never turned it on, so not sure, but as long as the room is lit you can see it. THe backlight is there so in case you have it mounted in a completely dark stand, you want to be able to see it better. For me I have a light under the stand so I could just turn that on.

You have a Ca Reactor right? If you get a pH probe, hook it up to the controller, it will controll pH and your Ca reactor at the same time.

So Ca Reactor Setup (co2 tank, ca reactor, regulator, solenoid, needle valve, bubble counter), a pH probe, and the AC Jr. =)

Dan: I don't have any experience with these but I have seen them and they look like a typical liquid crystal display similar to that of a calculator. To find out how hard it is, take a calculator and mount it where you're going to place it and see if you can read numbers off that. If you keep it under the sump typically it'll be impossible to read, if you have it on the side of the tank where the ambient light from the tank can shine on it, then a bit easier to read. It all depends upon your mounting place.

yah I just looked and it seems like they're 10 minutes from me. I'm gonna see if they'll will call it. I found a package deal on their site that looks pretty good.

I've also realized that they only have backlit versions now, and that the unbacklit versions have dropped in price! DOH!

So the price is lowered to $170, or $160 + a neat zoanthid frag =)

The DC8 and DC4 are direct connect 8 outlet or 4 outlet respectively. They connect directly to the aquacontroler via a phone cable so they dont have to send signals through your power outlet lines. You could use X10s instead of the DCs but I think the DCs are more reliable and a lot easier to use.

yea, I don't think you could pay me to use X10s :)

The DCs run approximately $125 - $175, depending if it is the 4 or 8 outlet version :)
