I got a 6 month old BK Double Cone 150 for sale. Nothing wrong with it; its in pristine condition as I cleaned with only non-abrasive materials to keep the acrylic looking clear and non-hazy. I'm selling it because it might be slightly too small for my 150. Premium Aquatics says it can handle my volume while Royal Exclusive says its too small. Another reason I'm selling it is requires frequent maintenance. It needs to be cleaned (top to bottom) monthly and with 2 small kids and very busy work schedule its hard to stay on top of it with my other maintenance. But, when its clean holy cow, the darkest nug I've seen in all the skimmers I've owned. I filled a collection cup in 4 days that a flashlight could barely shine through. This skimmer is impressive; titanium parts, CNC machined PVC, no cheap plastic anywhere.
I'll be going the Lifereef route as they require far less maintenance which is what I need with my schedule.
This skimmer costs $800 at Premium Aquatics or Salty Supply. I will part it for $650 (plus 50% of shipping if shipped). I bought it from Premium Aquatics and can email a copy of the receipt (if ever needed which I doubt, the Red Dragon pump is built like a tank). PM me if interested, I will keep running it until sold or not.
