We have some Convict Gobies that we would like to sell. They are also commonly called Engineer Goby and the scientific name is Pholidichthys Leucotaenia.
If you like eels, you will love this fish. They are hearty, reef safe and very passive. The big show stopper with this guy is how he gets the common name of engineer goby. They love to move your sandbed around. Not just a little, either.
We have three of them, around 10" long. They have done just fine in the 175G reef for several years. We have our live rock supported under the sand bed with "rock stilts", so their digging has not affected the 5 inch sandbed. Once they have the sand arranged the way they like it, they do not actually mess things up that bad. He will definitely keep your sand stirred up in the back side of the tank, though. Terry caught one of them while I was out of town, and he is now somewhat accessible in the 20G frag tank. He is going to town rearranging it to his likes, but this guy is just not meant for this small of a tank!
Check out some of the comments from Bob Fenner , or search the web by name. He is a cool fish, and could be yours for just $20.
We have a beautiful Rose Bubble Tip Anemone that finally moved to a location in the tank where we can safely remove him (or her, how do you tell?). Yours for $35.
