I have no idea but in the 4 months that I have had it, it hasn't. I think all algae has that ability ,to go sexual, but I am not positive on that.

As a previous treetopflynn customer, I have to say his macro is beautiful. I have a large clump in my 37g tank (and it's only getting larger!)

By the way, bud, that chalice that I got from you for my Palm Bay friend is still doing well. I visited her last weekend and it looked pretty good. It was a little too high up, I told her to drop it down closer to the sand bed if she wanted it to color up more.
