Great skimmer, I used it for 4 years, then for 2 years it was just sitting in the sump of my empty former reef tank. I used it on a 100gal, saw two other reef tanks using this skimmer (135g and 180g with a ton of fish). I had 11 fish in my reef including 2 tangs and one trigger.

The top of the air intake is missing, I had it like that since the second week of using this skimmer anyway, just fully opened:
I had to glue an outside piece of the pump together, it does not affect the way pump works whatsoever, just easier to open the pump to clean it
Steady water level is a key for this workhorse
It was one of the main reasons I had a success with my 100g reef
Obviously that skimmer is 6 years old, 4 years of working, no problems, feel free to pm me, want to come and check it out, let me know. Retail it was almost $400.
