Ok, we are soon approaching the move and can have this ready in two weeks. I have two of these tanks on a rack but unfortunately, wont have the ceiling space in the new place for the rack anymore so i can only keep one. Otherwise i would keep them all, the dimesions are THAT awesome! ONLY ONE available.
This is one of the MOST efficient Grow Out Tanks ive built so far. The main growing chamber is 3ft x 3ft x 10 inches tall. Using a SINGLE 250watt bulb on LumenArc III reflector you will have more than plenty of light!!!! That's 9 square feet of growing space with only ONE 250 watt bulb! More growing square footage than a 120gal tank!
The second chamber is 3ft long x 18" wide x 10" tall. This section was meant to be lit by 36" flourescent bulbs. (4) 39 watt T5's will grow you corals out of the water (literally since the tank is so shallow). Or (2) 96 watt PC's for growing massive chaeto.
The two growing chambers empty into a middle overflow. This overlflow is drilled with (2) 1.5" bulkheads and a single 2" bulkhead. The 2" bulk is not needed at the moment as there is more than plenty of flow.
I went ahead and paid the extra money for 1/2" thick glass. Sure 3/8" thick glass would have held water but i do a LOT of work in/on/ and around the prop tanks and the extra thcikness definately helps keep it all sturdy.
The tank has NO cumbersome center brace to block out light. Reaching to all parts of the growout area is easy.
I will post pictures by the weekend. For those of you who have been to our place and have seen our system, this is the tank in the back room, on the top shelf of the prop system rack.
Again, will post pics by the weekend.
Oh, almost forgot. I want $450 obo for the tank. Rememember, it is 1/2" thcik glass, has no combersome center brace and well, not to brag, but i think that the design (dimensions) are great.
Total diemsions: 5ft long x 3ft wide x 12" tall.
You wont find a tank like this anywere unless you custom build it.
The tank produces an incredible anout of frags with VERY low electricity. This is for the TANK ONLY.
Thank you for your interest and have a nice day, JOHNNY
