FS Feeler: Large Xenia Colony

Hey all,

Testing the waters on this xenia colony. Its kinda taking over the tank. Colony is very healthy, and probably the size of two softballs. Its the white pom-pom type.

I also have tons of free strays I can pull from other parts of the tank, just waiting until I can re-work my canopy to access both sides of the tank.

Thinking $50 for the colony since it comes on a nice piece of LR. Will take less if you can trade me a similar piece of LR to replace it with. Will trade straight up for an orange torch or frogspawn. Would consider trades for other species of LPS, Zoas, or monti-caps.

Seen here in the middle. This pic is a little old, has gotten bigger since.

I'm in Sunrise. Thanks!

Im good for small frags, its just a question of when. In addition to the colony I have plenty of strays to clean up from all over the tank, I just need to re-work my canopy so I can access both sides (peninsula tank)

Speaking from experience, being that xenia grows so fast and most people on the board either have xenia or have had it in the past. I think most are not going to want such a big colony. You might have better luck trying to frag it into smaller $5-10 pieces.

Thanks DRThompson for the trade, and it was nice meeting you yesterday!

To everyone else, I have a BUNCH of stray stalks to clean up all around the tank now that the mother is gone and I rebuilt my canopy for better access last week.

Anyone who wants one or two stalks, price is free, first come first served to my doorstep this week. I will be off of work at 5 every day, and usually pretty free at night. None of the frags will be mounted unfortunately, I'll probably pull them with hemostats right before pickup.

All interested PM for phone number and house address. I am in Sunrise off Nob Hill and Sunset Strip. Thanks!

Ok, have had a few pickups on free cuttings. Will be offering free cuttings of the xenia clean up through Sunday, then the rest gets tossed.
