FS/FT: Current USA Fission 8106 Skimmer!

This is brand new, I had planned to use this on my reef it is about 1" too big to fit in my little sump. It is the model 8106 by Current USA and is a recirculating unit. This item has never seen water, only taken out of box to see if it would fit in my sump.

I bought this unit about a year ago from marineandreef.com but because I kept it so long without calling, I can't return it.

Price dropped!!! I took it out of the box and found that the bottom of the pump is slightly broken so it doesn't "fully" attach to the skimmer. A new pump can be purchased for about $50 I think...or you can somehow mod this unit to fit securely on the skimmer.

$100 or 30 lbs of liverock.

$75 firm for the skimmer body in NEW condition and pump that can be possibly fixed.

i haven't heard much about this skimmer but would it be sufficient enough for a 90 gallon sps tank?

I would think so. It is a recir skimmer it is a little more efficient.

do you know any one that is using this type of skimmer? I definately need an effective skimmer the 90 gallon will also be barebottom
