Hello gang, I have a Filstar XP4 that I used on a freshwater system. This filter is a canister style filter and is rated for 265 gallons and pumps an amazing 450 gph!!!
I used this filter for about 4 months and it NEVER once gave me any trouble. When I tore my freshwater system down, I planned to use it on my new reef but have decided to use my drilled Oceanic so I no longer have use for it.
I just bought new filters for it that include carbon, phosphate remover and two types of micron filtration. I would use this system in salt or freshwater due to its capacity and flow rate.
Retail = $179.99
Can be had for 30 lbs of liverock OR $125.00.
Thanks!
