FS: GEO 618 Calcium Reactor, 10lbs co2 tank, second chamber

I think most know I'm working on my downgrade to LPS project and have a new smaller calcium reactor... so this one is no longer needed.

1) GEO 618 Calcium Reactor. Just coming on it's four year birth date and still running strong and in good condition. The clear vinyl was recently replaced with black in the last few months, o-ring still seals perfect, pump still works well and was recently disassembled and cleaned, original white socket screws replaced with black thumb screws, etc.

Overall, it's in great shape with a couple very minor things. It's been running for many a years, so I'll give it a good cleaning before I sell it. I'll re-lube o-rings, unions, etc. Occasionally I get a small drip out of the eheim pump, but it's merely that a small drip that typically seals via salt creep (I'd call it a drip not a leak).

Rated "For reef aquariums up to 350 gallons". You can run it on a 50-75g tank all the way up to a large heavily stocked large SPS tank. Due to the way GEO's are designed and the easy to use micro ball valve, they scale from small to large systems very well. It was able to keep up with my ~400-450 total gallons when I was running my largest setup. That's saying something, as my tank would go from 8.5-9 to 3 dkH in less than 24 hours without the reactor (in other words, probably a tank crash). That's a solid piece of hardware.

I will include everything for the reactor I have, clean it up and perform maintenance, and probably throw in 5-10 lbs of mixed media to get you started.

New, priced $410-450. Looks like there is little drop in value as I see them selling for $300-350 on RC and other sites. Selling to a club member for $220 because honestly I prefer to pass it on locally to someone who needs it and also not have to ship it.

2) 10lbs tank. $100 new (phishy I think it was). Typical wear and tear. Still has some co2 in it. Looks like $50-60 is normal used... $40 to a club member.

Grab #1 and #2, $250 (just add a regulator and you have everything you need... that's one heck of a deal).

3) ~612 chamber. Although the 618 kept up with my 400-450 heavy stocked system, I was was concerned at some point I would hit a wall and need to upgrade. To prepare for that, I got some parts and built a roughly "612" second chamber. This could be used for someone who needs a little more out of their current setup, wants to increase pH in their tank due to a calcium reactor (put in small grain media and it will increase dkH and pH before it hits the tank), or with the right DIY skills (actually 90% of the way there) could very easily be turned into a full blown stand alone calcium reactor. The only thing it needs is a recirculation pump of your choice.

No clue on cost, but I'd guess I have roughly equivalent in parts and material into it than what I'm asking. It has NOT been tested, but I guarantee you about 99.9% chance of no leaks or issues (and I'll help you if you run into some). $110 to a club member.

Wham bam deal of $350 for all three.

I will post pictures when I get the 618 cleaned up, as well as pictures of the second chamber project. But here is one from my project thread.

Have an offer on the tank unless someone wants to pick up the whambam deal. I'll give a little bit of time.

Cleaned and ready to rock. Didn't bother taking a picture of the co2 tank as I think we all know what those look like.

Last chance for the:
Wham bam deal of $350 for all three.
before I separate the components. Someone has requested the 10lbs tank, but the 618 and secondary reactor are still available. I'll leave them here for another week or so, then put them up on RC for shipping at a higher price as this is a heck of a deal.
