This mount allows you to be perfectly center of a 24 inch width tank.

So in other words the hanging kit hangs 12 inches into the center of a 24 inch wide tank.

I remember paying $80 for these.

I will sell them for $40.

These held my AIT 8 Bulb 5ft Fixture no problem and that was roughly 50 lbs.

Or you hang whatever light you need if you have a rimless no canopy design.

Probably a mixture of things over the years. Idiot comments people say to each other. My favorite are the Forum tough guy trolls that only are in the hobby for 2 years max, running people out of open discussions. Whatever the case, I miss the old days when this site was super positive and supporting of one hobbyist to the next. You see less and less new posts.
