This sump was built by me a couple years back. It's in relatively good shape, with likely some minor scratches here or there. No chips, leaks, or any other issues. Availability is 5-7 days to a month or so dependent on how soon the new owner could use it. In short I'm still using it as my new one isn't built yet (yes, I'm building a new, smaller one for my new system)... so if the person needs it NOW, I'll make arrangements to make that happen. If they can wait a month or so, that works out well for my timeline.
It's a beast at 61 long, 25 wide, and 17 tall.
I'll give you a synopsis of it's operation, but it's easiest to see it in person (if you haven't already).
Obviously these are the build pictures, and it actually has some additions since.
Finished:
Obviously things are capped here, but let me give you the breakdown. The left side is the drain section. It's setup for four separate drains. Three 1 1/4", one 1" The bottom left low bulkhead is for a skimmer input, however an in-sump skimmer could easily sit here. The section is ~14x24, room for a vast majority of the in sump skimmers on the market.
Next is the bubble trap.
Middle section is roughly 25x25 and could be used as a frag tank or refugium.
Another bubble trap.
Far right is the return area. This includes three 1 1/4" holes for return pumps, a skimmer drain (in case you want filtered water to bypass the refugium or frag section), and other various parts. NOT show is a float valve for water top off, and a probe and temp holder shelf that holds multiple of each. The upper right is a 90degree emergency overflow bulkhead.
Everything is built out of high quality cast acrylic, smoothed edges, no leaks, etc. Not even including my time, you would have a cost of at LEAST $500 for the acrylic alone (needs over a sheet and a half to build). Nine 1 1/4" SCH80 bulkheads $110. One 1" SCH80 bulkhead $8. Four 1 1/4" dual true union ball valves $110. So roughly $725 in parts alone.
Looking for $375 for just the sump itself.
$475 and I throw all the bulkheads, true unions, and a bunch of spaflex I have in as well.
Obviously I don't expect you to buy this without seeing it, so drop me a PM if you want to swing by.
