Since my main tank is more or less devoid of corals that require really bright lights, and starting to get overrun with hydroids, and mojano anemones (not sure where the last ones came from). I took down the 500+ watts of MH lighting, replaced it with 150W of T5s, and I'm going to leave it as this until I get my next tank up... so stuff up for sale!
I don't have any pictures of anything, but if you want, I can take some pics.
4 - Lumenarc mini (14.5" square) mogol socket reflectors w/socket - no glass $30 each, or all 4 for $100. Two are wired up with literally 3 prong plugs because that's the input of the ballast I was using, two are wired with another type of 3 prong plug... reminds me of a PFO connector, but the 3 prongs are flat like power cord prongs. Either way, I'm more than willing to help rewire to get it to work with whatever ballast you need.
1 - 2 x 250w electronic ballast. I forget the brand name (it is NOT Odyssea or Jebo or any of those other cheap ones) but it's encased, with metal "heatsink" around it, similar to a galaxy ballast but all black. $50
Will fire 2 - 250w bulbs, either mogul or double ended/HQI bulbs. It doesn't over drive the bulbs like a magnetic HQI ballast does though. I'll even toss in a 1 year warranty on this too, if it fails on you in 1 year I'll give you your money back.
2 - 250/400W double ended reflectors with glass + sockets. $5 each
Random lighting junk - free
Got a couple 55w PC bulb ballasts/connector hookups, I have a few random mogul sockets. a few 150w HQI magnetic ballasts (one has a broken ignitor that needs replacing... or not and keep the spare parts), I think I might have a couple 175W magnetic ballasts too. Basically if you want to rig up a quick and easy lighting setup for a frag tank, or what not... I probably got enough parts to make it work. Also have the shell of a MH setup, it's 4 feet long, held 2 - 150w- hqi bulbs in reflectors &sockets for these are still there.. plus free (old) bulbs! glass included, beefy metal sucker with hanging hooks, but the guts of it are gone, could be a useful to DIY into either MH, T5 or hell even a LED hood.
