FS: Mad Dog Protein Skimmer

This is a used MadDog skimmer. I bought this skimmer from Seven Seas a few years ago but only used it for a few months and it has sat on a shelf in my garage. I just took down my 120 and the pump for the auto top off that I just got was a Mag Drive 2 which is what this pumps needs. So I put the pump on this unit to make it a complete unit. It was rated for 90 gallons but I would say 60 is ideal. Works great and pump has a 18' power cord!

I think it was a company in Tampa that made them. It worked fine on my 90 a while ago but I upgraded to a EuroReef and it has been sitting in my garage without a pump on it.

It was very easy to use, the only adjustment was the air flow adjustment and if I remember correctly, I didn't have to constantly adjust it...which is good compared to some skimmers out there.
