FS: Maxima clam - and he is a big boy!

Hate to sell him, but he is just too big for my setup. Have other clams in there, but he's my fave - just spectacular when he spreads out and a great piece.

Not for a smaller tank - He's a good 12" long and 7" wide when opened up. Shell alone when closed is 7+".

I should have put in a ruler for reference, but here are some pics. Looking for $150 or certain trades for him. Healthy and happy dude.

Beautiful clam. I'm by no means a clam expert but by look of the mantle and the ridges on the shell, that might be a Squamosa. Typically, the squamosa's have a flowing mantle and open very wide.

Looks like my squamosa, almost the same size. Mine has grown a good 4" in the 16 months I've had him. They are very cool clams!
Good luck!
