I've got my original Apex that went on the fritz. I bought a replacement and used that until I shut down my last tank. If you want to take the time to mess with it and figure out what's going on and maybe get it all working, more power to you. *I WILL NOT PART OUT* ( so don't even ask ) Here's what is included:
2x EB8 - One works fine, had it up and working with the replacement Apex I bought. Running current device firmware. The other EB8 is DOA. No status light when you plug it in. Might be fixable, might be a paper weight.
1x Controller/Brain/Head unit - The head unit powers on from the good EB8, and you can access the web UI via ethernet. The head unit is updated to the latest firmware. The temp probe works. Not sure about the other ports. It just doesnt see the EB8 for whatever reason. You can open a support ticket with Neputne Systems and see if they can figure it out, not something I want to mess with though.
1X Display - Doesnt come on when plugged in. Your guess is as good as mine.
1x Temp Probe - self explanatory
1x Aquabus Cable - again, self explanatory
I have a spare pH probe kicking around I can throw in. No clue as to if it's any good.
If the control ports work you may be able to use it to control tunzes or dim some lights, again no clue if the control ports work or not.
Now, what price can you put on what could be potentially hours of troubleshooting? I dunno, your guess is as good as mine. What I am doing is pricing this as what it is - A fully functioning EB8 with a bunch of other broken/partially functioning bits. $100 picked up in the evening or weekend in San Gabriel or during the day M-F in Vernon.
