We are selling our 175 Curved Bowfront tank and stand. Both were built by Oceanic, built as a custom tank and stand. We purchased them new from Oceanic, and it has been up and running for 4-1/2 years.
Stand is a beautiful contemporary design with 3 doors, with a whitewashed oak finish. Height is 36".
Tank is 72.5 x W 24 x H 29.5. The 24" width is at the center, and 18" wide at the ends. There are absolutely NO scratches on the glass. But it does have one "small" problem. Tank has a small leak about 6-8" from the top on the front right corner. We have sealed the leak successfully with silicone, but I would not be comfortable using it as an aquarium until a more permanent fix is made. There are also some bubbles in the front left silicone seal, but that side has not leaked (yet).
We have talked with several custom tank builders, and it can be resealed. Most of the cost of doing a reseal job is taking the tank apart. If you're into DIY, you may want to try doing this yourself, and save some cash.
The canopy will be offered for sale separately - we're still using it for our new temporary setup. (Of course, we're going bigger.)
If interested, we'll also make you a great deal on the custom built sump designed to maximize the volume of the refugium. We also have custom plumbing for the tank, curved pipes to maximize flow in the tank (very nice!).
We would like to get $800 for the tank and stand. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to pick up a beautiful tank & stand for a great price. The tank and stand sells new for around $3500 + taxes + shipping.
Contact us if you have questions or would like to see in person.
