i also have another tank that i think i'm gonna sell as well. i bought it w/ plans to do it as a freshwater & build another similar for my saltwater setup, but have now decided to get away from freshwater all together & have decided to wait till after 1st of year to do my custom build.....

it is an oceanic 50 w/ oak stand, glass lid & light. tank was bought less than 2 months ago from aquatic critter for $350 & has never been wet. aquatic critter currently has same tank & glass-front stand (which i could've gotten over the oak one) for $389

tank dimensions: 30 1/2" wide x 18 1/2" deep x 21 3/4" tall

stand dimensions: 31" wide x 19" deep x 32" tall

.....asking $250 for all of it. once again, i can meet somewhere in nashville area (w/in reason) or i live in hickory hollow area less than 1 mile from the mall. stand is tight fit in the trunk of my car & in NO WAY will fit in the front or back seats of a 4-door accord......

$200....but nothing less.

otherwise, i'll just put it in my parking garage & park around it & maybe drill it when i get a wild hair in my butt LOL

james, it surprises me that none of your tanks are gone....good prices!....have you tried posting them up on craigslist?....i remember when i posted my tank on here, i didnt have much interest...but when i posted on CL, the first one was gone in 2 days, and all of them in a week

I know, I'm very tempted on this one for a frog habitat. His 52 flat hex is sold though. I'm pickin' it up Sunday.

angela has all but convinced me to keep it & set it up w/ a inexpensive biowheel HOB filter or maybe THIS eheim canister filter & 2 korillas.....

I wouldn't buy any equipment for that tank other than some Korillias. I would not do a biowheel but the other one that don't have the wheel to just run carbon in and get surface aggitation. But then again, you need to just make it a frog home!! You have a good eye for picking accent wood!

Steve, I love that flat hex, you will like that tank a lot I bet. I had the same tank years ago.

i have a butt-load of pages full of plumbing, sump/refugium & canopy designs/materials lists that have slowly started to take over my couch (my 52" plasma tv is my pc monitor) LOL

still tryin to finalize equipment list. have a few pms out on some ASM skimmers in the for sale forums. read melev's article on sump designs, so think i'm gonna build one in the stand. also decided on my overflow & return kits from glass-holes.com

also looking at bulk dead rock....looking into buying about 50-60lbs or so. i'm wanting about 10 (15 at most) 2-3" pieces & alot of "rubble" in a mixture of marco, fuji & tonga branch. would like to find 3 or 4 "shelf" pieces less than 6" each as well

anybody have some, let a mofokno LOL
